Self-Esteem

The BCA Holistic Mental Health Therapy approach defines Self-esteem with a holistic perspective and context of parts and whole of a person. In doing so, self-esteem has three parts: Self-worth – who we are; Skill-worth – what we can do; Social-worth – and how we are seen.

Understanding and addressing self-esteem involves recognizing the different aspects of our personal worth and their perceived versus real values.
